Job Description

Provides oversight for Emergency department.  Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise. Strong customer service skills required.  Supervises nurses and staff and takes administrative responsibilities. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks, must be able to complete projects with minimal oversight. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to the ED Director.   Must have strong computer skills and be fluent in excel.  On-call time may be required in the director’s absence and at times may be required to flex into staffing to meet the needs of department.
