RN - PACU - Full Time
Day shift with rotation and call.
Either directly or indirectly reporting to a nursing supervisor, plans, directs, participates in and evaluates patient care. Collaborates with other disciplines to provide optimal care.
Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Program required. BSN preferred.
Sufficient previous clinical experience in area of expertise.
"Required: Current AZ RN license or compact state RN license
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
(AHA) ACLS for: Cath Lab, ED, GI, ICU, Nursing Admin (Float Pool), PACU, PAT, Radiology, Telemetry, Urgent Care
(AHA)PALS or ENPC for: ED
(AHA)PALS for: PACU & UC
(All new graduate nurses or nurses new to specialty area have 180 days in which to obtain American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS, (AHA) PALS or (AHA) NRP, as required by unit).
