This is a PRN RN position working as the second employee health nurse in the HR department at Oro Valley Hospital.
Responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. May provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Education: Associate'sDegree in Nursing or Diploma Program required. BSN preferred.
Experience: Sufficientprevious clinical experience preferred. Employee Health and/or leadership experience highly preferred.
Skills: Ability toread, communicate, and document effectively through oral, written, orelectronic means. Previous computer experience and excellent customerservice skills. Ability to prioritize and respond promptly to a changingworkload.
Licenses/Certifications:Required: Current AZ RN license or compact state RN license and BLScertification.
