Director Social Services - Behavioral Health
Full Time position supporting the Behavioral Health unit at Oro Valley Hospital
To direct and manage an effective clinical service delivery system using applicable principles of Social Work including patient psychosocial assessment, group and individual psychotherapy, family intervention, patient/family education and treatment planning. Monitors and evaluates the quality and appropriateness of social services furnished to the patient population. Directs and oversees other Social Workers in the department.
The Behavioral Health Unit plans, directs, participates in and provides quality patient care for patients 40 years of age and older. This 17-bed specialty unit is for voluntary patients only and is located within Oro Valley Hospital on a unit designed with patient safety in mind.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
Minimum 3 years' clinical social work/ supervisory experience required.
Current AZ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure required.
