CNL Clinical Nurse Leader Full Time - Days MSICU at Northwest Medical Center 

Opportunity to provide patient care alongside a respectable, attentive ICU team in a skillful and educated atmosphere,  led by a supervisor and director who are hands on and supportive.

Progressive MedSurg Intensive Care Unit that offers unmatched patient care to multiple patient populations such as COVID, Medical Surgical, and Neurology among others.  Welcoming atmosphere with a dedicated orientation schedule and enhanced training to allow for development and growth of the professional healthcare provider.

The Clinical Nurse Leader is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the coordination and effective operation of the unit on the assigned shift. CNL Performs duties in the nursing capacity as needed and is qualified.

Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards of the specialty area. Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.            

                                                    

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements                                                                

Education:                

ADN or Diploma in Nursing program required.  BSN preferred.                                                    

Experience:                

Two (2) years of experience in specialty area preferred . One (1) year in supervisory capacity preferred.                                                    

 

Skills:                

Interview others; Team facilitation & meeting skills.        

                                        

Licenses/Certifications:        

Required:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

American Heart Association (AHA)  or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS , ACLS
