This position is a Full Time, Days & Evenings shift position and will work in the Intensive Outpatient Program office on the Oro Valley Hospital campus.

Under the direction of the IOP Program Supervisor, the IOPBehavioral Health Tech (BHT) primary focus is that of milieu safety, patientengagement, and overall staff support.  Like the IOP Office Coordinator,this position helps ensure that all new admissions are registered, orientatedto and ready to actively attend treatment. Provides daily support in answeringphones, helping with patient admissions, managing patient records, and ensuringthat a safe environment is maintained particularly during patient care hours.

 Additionally, this position will regularly interface withvarious other departments throughout the hospital or medical center.


High School orequivalent required. 

Post High Schoolvocational/specialized training preferred.


One (1) yearexperience in behavioral health

working inhealthcare, clinic front or back office, or in the

behavioral healthfield - in an acute psychiatric or intensive outpatient setting preferred.

Skills:  Ability to answer phones, use a computer,stay organized and excellent personable engagement with others.



American HeartAssociation BLS (CPR)

Handle With Care(HWC) certification required within 30 days of start date
