Administrative Assistant - Behavioral Health Outpatient Program, IOP - Full Time
Position is Full Time, working M-F , no holidays or weekends ( 8:00-4:30p M-Th, 800-Noon Fridays)
Under the direction of the IOP Manager, the Administrative Assistant will help ensure that all new admissions are registered, orientated to and ready to actively attend treatment. Provides daily support in answering phones and scheduling appointments. Managing patient records and input daily billing for services rendered while ensuring a safe environment is maintained in the therapy office. Will order supplies, organize Other duties as assignment.
Position is located in the Medical Offices Building on the OVH campus in the IOP Choices office and works at the Front Desk. Provides administrative support services for Behavioral Health Outpatient treatment team.
Intensive Outpatient Therapeutic group supporting patients 21 and older with a variety of mental disorders to help them identify healthy coping skills. Patients attend 9 hours of treatment weekly for a 6 week program.
Prior HMS experience, Microsoft Office, Insurance and Billing highly preferred .
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
High School/GED or equivalent experience required. Post high school education preferred.
Required:At least three (3) years of secretarial / administrative support experience required.
Preferred: Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
