RN First Assist

Position is Full Time working at Northwest Medical Center in the Main OR

$15,000 sign on bonus for qualfied RNFA's!

Job Duties: Evaluates perioperative patients and plans, implements and documents surgical nursing care. Performs surgical procedures under supervision of a surgeon. Functions in a scrub and circulating nurse role.  Requires an associate's degree, certification as a registered nurse first assistant (CRNFA), certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR), and at least 2 years of operating room experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:

Required:

For Surgical First Assistant: CSA through NSAA -OR- CFA through NBSTSA -OR- SA-C through ABSA
For RNFA: current Arizona RN license or compact state license
For all First Assists: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS
For OVH RNFA: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) ACLS

Preferred: Where not required, American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) ACLS is preferred.
