The Nurse Tech inTelemetry provides basic nursing care to patients under direct supervision of alicensed nurse.        

Assists nursingservice personnel with a variety of patient care activities and relatedservices necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.

Assists withpersonal hygiene, takes vital signs and changes bed linens.

May serve andcollect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment.

Cleans, sterilizes,stores and prepares other supplies.

Works underimmediate supervision.

Preferred candidatewill have prior experience working in a hospital setting. 


High School orequivalent required. 

Post High Schoolvocational / specialized trainingpreferred.                                                


One (1) yearexperience in hospital or nursing homepreferred.                        


Ability to read,communicate, and document effectively through oral, written, or electronicmeans; excellent customer service skills; ability to prioritize and respondpromptly to a changingworkload.
